The waning moon tends to be a time of high energy and I try to put it toward removing things that no longer need to be in my life. This cycle I’ve really worked on making my room more like my room and decluttering. Amazing what a donation drop and a bookcase can do for a small corner. Also got the chance to hang some beautiful artwork really going with my green witch theme. Sometimes life improvement just means cleaning your damn room, even if it’s just a corner of it.

Lughnasadh is a harvest festival named after the sun god Lugh. And not coincidentally my birthday. It’s a good day for thanking the earth for your life becoming fruitful and plans coming to full circle. And my mom can thank the earth for the harvest of a halfway decent daughter.
